Outside Sales Representative
Position Overview
Plantation Furnishings long acknowledged as a leader in providing furnishing packages throughout
Central Florida, is currently seeking career minded outside sales representatives for our package
furniture division. Our sales environment encourages individuals to use their work experience in
an entrepreneurial environment. Our outside sales representatives receive the tools and
responsibility they need to achieve goals beyond their expectations. We are a family

Job Responsibilities
Call on prospective customers in our sales region consisting of realtors, developers, property managers and residential communities.
Interview prospects to determine their furniture needs
Develop new customers
Present various package furniture options
Follow up with every customer to ensure satisfaction
Be a self starter with excellent time management and people skills
Provide continuous follow up for all accounts and their customers
Be aggressive and understand that “no” is not the final answer from a prospect
Complete monthly call reports
Required Experience
Minimum of two years sales experience in a related industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Determination to succeed
Previous furniture sales or design experience a plus
Computer experience using Microsoft products.
Previous work experience in a related field is helpful.
