When is your next sale?

Unlike many retail stores, we do not generally have a special sale day, as our pricing many times would be comparable to that of stores who are running special sales. We do however have a discontinued item section in our main warehouse that offers tremendous savings.

What about buying power?

With over 25 years of furniture buying experience Plantation Furnishings has incredible resources and buying power based on years of manufacturer loyalties, excellent credit rating and volume purchasing. When you add it all up, Plantation Furnishings has the same purchasing power from our suppliers as the national stores and we pass those savings on to our customers by keeping our overhead low.

Yes. Plantation Furnishings is your one stop furniture and home beautification store. We can offer you complete custom window treatments with professional installation. Did you furnish the model at________?

Many of our customers notice our courtesy boards or brochures in various model homes throughout central Florida and ask us if we furnished the model home that they selected. We furnish and provide design services to several model homes in the area. Many of our customers appreciate the innovative design styles and want to duplicate the look for their new home. Our professional design staff is ready to assist you.

Do you have catalogues?

Yes. We maintain product photographs of many of our furniture items. If you request, we can provide you with a photograph of the item you are interested in.

What furniture brands do you carry?

Plantation Furnishings stocks a wide range of famous brand names. Makers, such as Standard, Founders, Home Elegance, Capri and others are ready for immediate delivery.

Can I get a sample of the fabric or leather that I am interested in?

Yes. We realize it is important for you to experience the color and texture of the furniture before you make a purchase. When you find a style that you like, simply click on the fabric sample option. Fill in the required information and your swatch will be sent to you in 3-5 business days. Not all fabric selections are available. Fabric swatches are available on most items. Do you carry bedding products?

Yes. Plantation Furnishings carries a full line of name brand bedding products from Spring Air.

No. Absolutely not, our showrooms are different based on our consumer needs, but we are a full service store.

No. All of our products are fully assembled before leaving your home and ready for you to enjoy.

Can I place a special order?

Yes. We offer special order services. A 50% deposit is required on all special orders. Special orders cannot be returned.

What is a furniture package?

Many of our builder clients desire to offer the new home buyer savings on a complete home full of furniture. They offer this package as a marketing tool to attract more buying customers. Because the builder desires to offer the best possible value to the home buyer, the builder has arranged special furniture pricing on specific furniture packages.

What is a “Turn Key” package?

We use the term “turn key” package to refer to our service of providing a complete home furnishings package complete with Housewares and professional installation. Everything is setup in your home and ready for occupancy including making the beds and hanging of the pictures.

What is a Housewares package?

A Housewares package consists of pots, pans, kitchen utensils, linens and other items needed to live comfortably in your home. Click here to visit our housewares page.

Are Housewares included in your packages?

Depending on the package selected, housewares may or may not be included. Check with your sales associate for details.

Who sets up your ‘Turn Key packages”?

Our household division sets up all of our home packages. This division helps us maintain that the items are properly installed into your home and the correct items have been delivered.

Can I make changes in my package?

Yes. We encourage our customers to take their time in purchasing their selection. You may in most cases make changes in the set package. Additional charges may apply.

Can I buy individual pieces?

Yes. You are welcome to add or subtract any piece from your selected package in most cases.

Are rugs included in the package?

Are bedspread options available in the package we select?

Generally, we will color coordinate the bedspreads with the color package you select.

Can we pick out the lamps in our package?

You may choose from the styles shown on this site. We generally coordinate the bedspread with the color of lamps in the bedrooms. Living room lamps are coordinated with sofa fabrics.

We have one style of patio furniture available.

Are there other fabrics available, other than those shown?

We have pre-selected the fabrics that we offer with our various packages. If you find that these do not meet your needs, other fabric selections would be available at an additional cost.

How much of a down payment is required?

When placing orders for our package furniture we require a minimum deposit of 10% with the balance payable 21 days prior to delivery.

How soon can I receive my furniture?

Plantation Furnishings offers next business day delivery on in stock items. Allow fourteen days for special order items. *Delivery times are based on in stock manufacturer items.

Yes. We will attempt to contact you 24 hours prior to delivery to notify you when to expect delivery.

Do you charge for delivery?

We charge $55.00 delivery for furniture only and $95.00 delivery for furniture and housewares, unless you have a free delivery voucher.

What if my order contains damaged goods?

Minor damage sometimes can occur due to the bulkiness of furniture and the overall shipping process. Occasionally, there may be a manufacturing defect. We ask that upon delivery you inspect your purchase and note any dissatisfaction with our product to our delivery staff. We will arrange for the goods to be repaired in your home if possible, alternatively we will arrange to have the product replaced and returned to the manufacturer. Please note that some manufacturers require merchandise be returned to our store prior to your replacement.

Plantation Furnishings has put over 25 years of experience in the furniture business to good use by selecting high quality products that should not need warranty service. What if I don’t like what I ordered?

At Plantation Furnishings we encourage you to carefully consider your selections. If you find that your purchase does not meet your needs, you may elect to exchange or obtain a refund for your purchase. A 10% restocking fee along with a redelivery fee, if applicable will apply. We’re s orry, but there are no returns on special order items or bedding items.

Out of Stock Policy

If an item is out of stock, substitutions may be made for equal or better quality, unless otherwise specified. If you select the no substitution option at the time of purchase the item will be backordered or you may obtain a full refund.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your order 24 hours prior to your delivery by contacting your sales associate. Special orders may only be cancelled if the manufacturer has not processed the special order.

What is your policy on special orders?

There are no returns on special orders.

Can I return bed or bedding items?

No. Since we cannot resale beds and bedding by federal law and we do not mark up our products high enough to cover the costs of discarding merchandise, there are no returns. The only exception with this return policy would be the unlikely event of a manufacturers defect. It is up to the manufacturer to make a decision on whether they repair or replace an item.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer one year financing with no interest and no payments on most of our regularly priced merchandise. Financing is not available on furniture packages or other discount programs.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Plantation Furnishings accepts MasterCard, Visa, Novus/Discover and bank transfers. For more information on making your payment by bank transfer please, click here. We also accept checks for payment drawn on US banks within our delivery area. A $25 fee will be charged on all checks returned for collection.

How soon before we close on our new home should we place our order?

In an effort to ensure adequate delivery time, we would recommend placing your order at least 21 days in advance of your projected closing date. If you are planning to order special order merchandise, ordering 60 days in advance is suggested.
